The first version of a new add-in for Microsoft Word (CM Tools for Word) has been released in BETA form.

This tool gives you the following functionality

• Connectivity to CM Tools Server (share) alongside CMTools for Excel
• “Key Data” – Allows you insert “Key Data” from Excel spreadsheets inline with your Word Document and then to update it throughout when the Key Data on the server (from Excel) changes.
• “Server Tables” – Allows you to insert a table using the data from Excel spreadsheets (exported to CMTools Server).  You can select and re-order the columns, apply filters to the table and format it.  Then as the data on the server gets updated, the table can be automatically rebuilt ensuring that your document always reflects the latest live position.
